Embrace What Works for You

If a technique, tactic, or solution works for you, remember it for the future! Once you find a method or strategy that pays off for you and your business:

Reflect on Why It Worked.

Think about why your solution was effective for the problem at hand. Likewise, reflect on why this approach was worked. If you can understand why a certain tactic fits well with your problem-solving style and workflow, you will have a better chance of replicating your success with this technique in the future.

Apply What You Learned.

If a certain habit, rule, or solution is helping you work more wisely and effectively, consider integrating it into your routine! The more you experience and succeed, the stronger your problem-solving toolkit will become.

Consult the People Who Know You.

Your support network knows you best. When a tactic or habit pays off for you, share the news with your mentors and other members of your network. They can celebrate your growth with you and recommend similar tried-and-true advice that’s right for you.

Continue to Be Adaptable.

No matter how much you learn from your past efforts and successes, you will continue to encounter situations that challenge you and are difficult to solve. Don’t be afraid to change your tactics when needed. There will likely also be times when you need to reach out to a member of your support network who has the expertise and experience you need to help you solve your current issue. Learn from the people around you in these moments (and down the road!). Continue to grow your knowledge and skillset in your free time; you never know what new challenges you’ll face!
